The label has begun with the production of specials to build small monuments for bands. Record cover should be more than a printed cardboard sleeve. In a record store the cover is the first contact with the music. A good one makes curious and attentive, explains and circumscribes, flatters and raises a question, approaches the most diverse senses. It manifests something so fugacious and intangible as a listening experience. You can talk or write about the meaning of a special edition a lot. For one it is the vinyl color, for the other a different cover. The fact is, for one, it means to earn more money, for the other a hommage to the band, to raise their work.
Sounds of Subterrania has set a goal with The Bastards can't dance to rethink and further develop the packaging of the record.
